For the service to work and to meet legal obligations, some technical data is recorded automatically while you use the chat:

• Connection IP address;
• Date and time of use;
• Technical details of the access, such as user-agent, screen resolution and time zone.

These access logs are kept for 6 (six) months, in accordance with record-keeping obligations applicable to internet application providers.

Lumo is designed to be ephemeral: we do not keep a history of your conversations. Messages travel through our servers solely to be delivered in real time to the other person and are not stored after the conversation ends.

There are two exceptions to this rule:

• Reports: when a conversation is reported, part of its content may be temporarily retained so we can assess whether the Terms of Use were violated.
• Casual moderation: because the Casual mode has strict rules against sexual content, we may analyze messages in this mode to enforce those rules and act quickly against offenders.

To strengthen safety and compliance with our guidelines, we may use Artificial Intelligence in specific situations:

• When reviewing reports, identifying violations and, where appropriate, blocking the responsible user;
• When checking media before delivery, automatically blocking inappropriate content;
• In 18+ mode, to look for signs that a participant may be a minor, with immediate blocking if suspected.

We may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics for the sole purpose of measuring the number of active users and understanding general usage patterns. This data is collected anonymously and in aggregate, without identifying you individually.

You can disable these cookies at any time through your browser settings or the official opt-out add-on.

We never sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes, under any circumstances. Sharing occurs only when required by law or by competent authorities.

Under the LGPD, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, as well as information about how it is processed. To exercise these rights, contact our team.
